Ladies They Love Me Pt 1 – Disciples

Here’s a track I produced for this dynamic group out of Atlanta named the Disciples. The Disciples consist of Mr CG (RIP) and J Beans. I love this track because it’s so laid back but full of energy. It has swag without saying “I got swag.” For this beat, I only used Reason 4.0. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Beat 67 – Somebody’s Big Intro

For this beat, I once again used a combination of Logic and Reason 4.0. I also got a little bit of help on this one with the organ thanks to my fellow Nominee, Magic Notes. Once again, this one is a big beat. I really hear this one as a intro for an album. IT’S BIG and POWERFUL in my mind. Feel free to leave comments. Who could you hear on this one?

Beat 62 – R & B Joint

Beat 62 was a fun track for me to produce.  I don’t do a lot of R & B but I felt the need to drop a smooth joint.  For this beat, I used both Logic and Reason 4.0 as I typically do.  I actually picked up my bass and lead guitars and came up with some of the melodies on those instruments before recording in Logic.  This beat was fun and will definitely be a “baby making” track once I get an artist on it.

Beat 75 – Something Different from Me

Here’s a beat that I stepped out of my norm to produce.  I was going for more of a rock, alternative, house hybrid on this one.  I have already gotten a lot of positive feedback from this beat.  To have even more fun, I decided to throw the Stanky Leg lyrics on top to see what it sounds like.  Listen for yourself and let me know what you think.

Beat 77

Here’s a beat I produced last week using Logic and Reason 4.0.  It’s definitely a dirty south banger.  I like hearing lyrics on top of my beats even before a beat is sold to an artist so I decided to test this one out with a remix.  I put T.I. “Big Things Poppin” on top of this beat to see if it could hold its on with some dirty south energy.  Let me know what you think about both the beat and the remix.

Transitions

I haven’t posted in a while but that is definitely going to change.  A lot has changed in the last couple of months in my personal as well as professional life.  I won’t go into details but I believe I have learned more in the last two months than I have in a while.  I rededicated myself to seeking knowledge on a daily basis and making plans and sticking to them.  Even though I haven’t posted on this site in a while, I still have definitely been diving deeper into my music (I will be posting a lot of the new stuff in the coming days).  Well, time to focus.
